Bringen dich zu deinem Auto, wo du dann das Auto checken kannst und sie geben dir noch Tips welche Strände sehr gut sind oder wo man sich lieber nicht alleine hin begeben soll. Zurückgeben war gar kein Problem, Schlüssel abgeben und dann bekommst du direkt die Rechnung per E-Mail. Sie fragen dich sogar noch ob du zum Flughafen oder wieder zu deiner Unterkunft gefahren werden willst. (KOSTENLOS) ICH KOMME GERNE WIEDER 🙂

My friend and I visited Nassau for a week and before we arrived we were struggling to find a reasonably priced car rental company as the ones at the airport... read more were extortionate and we were starting to loose hope of finding a car to rent within our budget, but then we came across Lucayan Car Rental and our luck changed! We were a little bit sceptical at first due to the massive difference in price and the website not being very modern. Lucayan Car Rental is much much much cheaper than any other car rental company we had found on the island, but given they had so many good reviews on Google we decided to take a chance and book with them. We contacted the team through WhatsApp and arranged everything via WhatsApp (which felt a bit strange at first, but everything turned out fine in the end and it turns out most businesses in Nassau are ran through WhatsApp as the main contact method so nothing to worry about there!). Before picking the car up we had to get a bus to the city center and get some cash out for the deposit on the car. The bus driver very kindly gave Lucayan Car Rentals a call for us and arranged for us to be picked up from the city center as we hadn't managed to sort out data on our phones to call anyone yet and had already had two missed calls which we weren't able to return from Lucayan Car Rental not long after we arrived. All of this was sorted with ease and we paid for the car rental team to come and pick us up from the city centre and bring us to where the car hire place was in order to sort the paperwork out. As you would with any other car rental company, we were given the option of a collision damage wavier for an additional cost (which we paid for) and we went over the forms, checked the car for damage together with the team and noted it down and then paid in person before leaving with the car. The car was incredibly clean when it was handed over to us and they were all very polite and kind helping us with places to visit etc. whilst we stayed on the island. The Nissan Cube we rented was a great car to drive and we often referred to it as like driving a sofa because it was so comfortable and we only filled it up to the top with fuel once and topped it up a tiny bit on return so it did really well on miles to the gallon as we went here there and everywhere in it. The car was returned with ease and the deposit was given back to us (as the car was returned to them in the same good nick as it was when they handed it over to us). I highly reccomend booking with them and saving yourself a fortune. The only few things I'd say could be improved as an added bonus for any future bookings you guys take is to perhaps looking into a lock box to fit under the car to store the car keys if people go to a beach and want somewhere safe to lock the keys whilst going for a swim, a note on how to connect to the Bluetooth audio in the car would have been super handy for in car tunes, a MPH sticker added to the dashboard as it was hard to work out what the correct speed was and perhaps giving everyone a small easy to read guide/pamphlet about driving in Nassau such as the car horn system (beep to go/ beep to say thank you/ beep to let someone out etc.) and mentioning that there aren't as many road signs as you'd find in other countries such as the UK so you have to be extra vigilant looking for signs on things such as one way streets as that almost caught us out a couple of times. But frankly for the price you guys are hiring the cars out for, the above stuff not being included was not a massive issue, they'd just be nice additions to make if you're looking to improve your already impeccable service to an even better standard. As I say though, we both thoroughly agreed we'd highly reccomend your rental services to anyone looking for affordable and nice car hire in Nassau.
